Are you ready to explore the nuances of embodied consent, preparing for a deeper, more connected experience in sensual and kinky spaces? Embodied Consent: Boundaries and Desires (a vetting workshop) is a hands-on, participatory workshop designed for individuals interested in future kinky and sensual gatherings at The Forest Haven.

Rooted in the BDSM ICAARE consent model, as practiced at the Touch & Play retreats, this event brings together elements of somatic awareness, voice, and conscious kink to create a supportive space for practicing authentic, embodied consent.

In this 3 hour workshop, you'll learn how to:

* Identify Boundaries and Desires: Dive into your personal wants, limits, and motivations for interaction. This includes practice in feeling safe to give and receive a clear "no," a curious "maybe," or an invitation for a different interaction.

* Engage in Safe, Interactive Demonstrations: Experience real-time scenarios such as "Can I lick your face?" and practice responding from an empowered, bodily-aware place with responses like, "No, but I'd like it if you kissed my hand."

* Ask the Right Questions and Embrace Authentic Connection: Understand how to initiate and maintain dialogues around boundaries, aftercare, and relationships outside of a given connection.

* Explore Community and Self-Perception: Reflect on your own identity and the communities you align with, enhancing clarity on how these aspects shape your boundaries and desires.

Through interactive demos, exercises, and open dialogue, Embodied Consent: Boundaries and Desires (a vetting workshop) creates an environment that blends authentic relating practices with the BDSM ICAARE framework, emphasizing:

* Clear Boundaries and Safer Practices

* Intentional Communication Around Desires and Motivations

* Capacity for Aftercare and the Role of Agency

Whether you're familiar with consent practices or new to conscious connection & kink, this workshop welcomes all experience levels. Join us for an opportunity to deepen your capacity for conscious communication and embodied awareness in a warm, judgment-free environment.
