ABOUT THIS SPACE

Relax into luxury nestled in the middle of 53 acres. In the woods, yet 10 minutes to Woodstock, 10 to Saugerties, 15 to Kingston, and 10-30 min away from some of the most beautiful hikes and slopes of the Catskills.

Bathe in the two person clawfoot soaking tub while you choose your LED color experience.

Even in a small space of 420 sqft, you will feel the spaciousness everywhere you look, with windows providing views of Overlook Mountain and the surrounding private forest.

The space

Climb the library ladder into the plush, carpeted, reading loft stocked with lots of book genres for you to fill your mind.

The kitchenette includes the tastiest well water, a countertop induction burner, full size refrigerator, and a large microwave.

Keep in mind that even though this space will be neatly organized, I do live in this space when not airbnb-ed and will have my belongings in the space. So it may not be your usual airbnb 'hotel experience'. Please be kind to my things. There will be drawers available for you as well as hangers for coats and clothing. The fridge will have the main shelf cleared off for your use.

Other things to note

Please note that the living space sits on the second floor of the barn, so there will be a set of stairs to enter the space.

The barn is it's own private structure and the 53 acres are shared with either me or another airbnb guest who will be staying in the round house, about 150ft apart.

My time there was quite and peaceful , just an owl friend some humming birds and deer stopped by . lovely to be able to take a short hike around the property right from the front door. The soft color lights , and beautiful open shower with tub felt luxurious.

  • Highly recommend Zach’s place to stay! It was an ideal location for a peaceful, private getaway, and the house itself was really cool, with lots of little features to make it feel homey and cozy. Would definitely stay there again — neat space, surrounding area, and only ~10 minutes away from Woodstock and Saugerties.

  • I stayed here for a weekend getaway with my husband, baby, and pup, and it was the perfect retreat for our young family. Zach’s place is absolutely gorgeous — it was clean, comfy, and cozy with a luxurious feel and many well thought out details. While it is a studio, we were able to fit a pack and play and a large dog bed and the space still didn’t feel cramped. The location is tucked away privately in the woods, but within a 10-15 min drive away from Woodstock and Saugerties, so we could always conveniently go into town for meals or to pick up some groceries. This was probably one of the best b&bs I’ve ever stayed at and would definitely stay here again if in the area. It was worth every penny, and the pictures don’t do it justice.

  • Me and my partner stayed at Zach’s place for the weekend and really enjoyed it. First of all the place is beautiful, clean, and was already heated for our arrival. We followed his list of recommendations and enjoyed the red onion and love bites in particular. The bathroom exceeded all expectations and was even better than what the pictures conveyed. The location is great and just in the middle of Woodstock and Saugerties and is close to a lot of other towns in the Hudson valley. Would definitely recommend staying here for a romantic getaway and would love to come back again.

  • We had a really great time at the barn! It was easy to find with our maps app and the detailed instructions provided were also very helpful. We loved the space, the heated bed was very warm in the winter weather, and all the windows were perfect to look out at the gentle snowfall. We loved the reading nook as well, it was easy to climb up the ladder and the space itself was very sturdy and we liked hanging out there and reading. We loved the bathtub, it was definitely big enough for two, and the fan worked well and there were lots of lighting options. We were warm the whole stay thanks to the nice heating system (loved the heated floors). The TV was easy to use and to cast to. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the binder Zach provided. This place was so cozy and peaceful and definitely worth the cost!!
